Poetry in Gems

Chandeliers that transform light into living color—gemstones arranged in spectral progressions.

The Nandanvan Chandelier

50,000 carats of emeralds in a single chandelier. Commissioned for a state dinner hosted by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

"Nandanvan" refers to Indra's celestial garden in Hindu cosmology. The chandelier brings a fragment of paradise into material form—emeralds arranged to evoke the verdant splendour of divine gardens.

Light Made Permanent

P.C. Lunia's chandeliers position him within a lineage of artists who explore color as primary medium—from the Impressionists to James Turrell. Yet his medium is unique: actual gemstones formed over millions of years, each carrying its own history of pressure, heat, and time.
